The problem

My mother complains about two things every spring: she has to wash all the windows and she doesn’t have any idea what to plant in her garden. Well, I’m not going to help with the windows. I really think she should get a robot window washer. Like a Roomba, but for windows. But for the other issue - team 30 has the answer!

Plantly is a web app designed to be a easy-to-use and comprehensive solution for generating a plan for plant combinations in the garden, creating a watering and planting schedule and just finding information about a specific plant - whatever you need for your garden to thrive next coming spring.

The solution

What if you could open a website, insert some parameters about your wishes and someone told you exactly what you had to do?

This is what we are aiming for. Just enter some of the following characteristics:

• how many different plants would you like?
• what color(s) should your plants be?
• would you like a plant that meets specific criterias?
• would your ideal flowerbed have one type of purple flowers, one type of red flowers and one type of blue flowers that each bloom during different months of the year so you could have flowers in your garden all summer?
